PN at Coorg
Nestled in the serene landscapes of Coorg, this residence is a contemporary take on vernacular architecture, deeply rooted in its context and traditions. The design draws from local wisdom, using regional materials such as laterite and timber to create a home that breathes with the land it belongs to.
The interiors are anchored by skylights that bring daylight into the heart of the home, illuminating spaces with a soft, natural glow. Every room is designed with a sense of purpose and identity—the pooja room becomes a sacred pause, while living and dining spaces flow seamlessly into each other, encouraging family interaction.
Columns, wooden textures, and warm finishes lend a timeless character, while the play of light and shade redefines how the indoors connect with the outdoors. By embracing local materials and climate-responsive design, the home reflects sustainability, cultural belonging, and modern comfort in equal measure.
